Well, historically, and in some cases, currently Christians will kill you if you are a different version of Christianity. They will kill you if you are muslim, black, wiccan, homosexual, atheist, agnostic, heretic, abortion doctor, scientist, scholar, pagan, etc. etc.

It's going to take a long time for Islam to catch up with the death toll done by Christians in the name of god.

You just better be glad we're not muslims, is all I can say. I don't think you would be posting here if we were. Not for long anyway, because we would find you.

I haven't noticed any SDA's killing those who aren't of their spiritual persuasion. Come to think of it, I haven't noticed any Calvary Chapels advocating it either. Lutherns? Baptists?Evangelicals? Wait, I'm thinking........................OK,I give.

You don't believe that witches are being killed today? It's a major problem in South Africa, Congo, and Tanzania. This is by both islamic and christian believers.

And Wiccans identify themselves with witches in the past and refer to their own history as the burning times. So when I refer to wiccans I am referring to their own claims of being witches. I think there is a well documented history of witch burning. And I think that qualifies as killing.

And you don't have to go too far to find Christian pastors advocating the death penalty for everything from witches to homosexuals.

I think both Christians and Islamic believers are fear based and a blight to humanity. So I'm not defending Islam. I think it's just as harmful. Christianity simply got a head start.

At least have some honesty about the violence of Christianity's past. All this deflection really is a sign of weakness.

I didn't say that SDAs are killing people or that any particular group was killing people. It's the fringe today, but in the past it was the mainstream.

Now if we count up the actual number of reported deaths in the Bible we come to about 2.3 million people killed by God's order or by God. And this doesn't include Noah's flood, Sodom and Gomorrah, or the many plagues, famines, fiery serpents, etc.,

At least be honest about the history of Christianity. It's drenched in the blood of its victims. Some estimates are 50 million. And if we include native peoples this number more than doubles.

When you trivialize this you reveal the fact that you really don't have the ability to confront the truth.

So what's your point, cardw? The 50 million historical deaths attributed to Christianity has been far exceeded by the number of deaths caused by athiests in the past century alone. So where do you go to get reconciliation? In your view everything that either exists or doesn't exist (remember, you said that you don't believe that the God of the Bible exists) has been a murderous,hypocritical force. Where do you suggest that the delusional Christian should go to be at peace with this reality that you have discovered. Where does the non-Christian go?
