I'm thinking of an in-house Bible module where the forum user wouldn't have to leave the forum if they wanted to find a verse quickly while posting or reading a post?

And while you're at it, maybe some kind of quick link to the EGW writings? just to check the full context of some of the quotes I've seen lately bwink

There's a computer program called Instaverse that I use. You just hover the cursor over a Bible reference and the verse pops up.

its irritating for me. ill be in my esword and it pops up all the time getting in the way. since my esword is always running i keep the instaverse on exit.

but for those who dont have a bible program running all the time, id say it is great!!

Alex check with the company that makes it, they probably have an upgrade for Vista?

I've been using Vista for over a year now (can't remember how long). For the first 4 weeks or so, I hated it. There was a lot of tweaking my computer-savvy husband had to do, but once it was complete, I've loved my Toshiba Satellite with Vista.

I don't use InstaVerse though, I use e-Sword when I want to look something up.

Vista is the most disfunctional operating system there ever was. It was designed by Satan himself. Plus it uses up way to much RAM.

It's too bad that tweaking had to be done, though...you were lucky to have someone handy to do it for you! I'm glad you like it now!

I haven't had any problems with Vista. Oh, well, I'll be upgrading to Windows 7 soon. Since 7 is the number of perfection... that must say something about the OS.

Hey Stan! I am wondering if you have heard about RefTagger? It is just a short bit of script that you add to the dode in the forum, usually on a header page, just before the </body> closing tag. It will work beautiful on this forum software that you use here, and it is free. I have been using it quite successfully on both forum software and web pages. Full info is at the link I have provided above.

What kind of Bible Module do you have in mind? Does something like the Reftagger increase your bandwidth use a lot? I am not sure how it all works.
