I'm relatively new to this site and notice that you have a sports forum but it seems mainly for fans. How about one for athletes? I'm sure we have runners, cyclists, ball players, triathletes etc.
Since health reform is important to us, let's practice what we preach.

Wannabe-athletes and/or Ex-athletes is fine by me. I would just like to encourage more (especially older) Adventists to maintain their health and fitness. My concern stems from growing up Adventist and listening to health reform talks but always noticing that the focus was on food and rarely ever on exercise. Then as I grew older I noticed the gaunt looks of those members who were very strict about their diets but did no exercise. Since then, I've been looking for that happy medium where we as Adventists, just by our appearance, can be living, walking testimonies to our faith. Alex

Or they exercise and forget to eat correctly. Both should be encouraged. One without the other is not good. But together they fit like a glove. pk
