All throughout history dgrimm. The Jews have never know peace, except for little time's here and there. But yet they get themselves up, dust themselves off and go on, without asking for anyone to give them anything.

If you will go back in history to when the Lord appeared to the Children of Israel on the two mountains he gave them a choice. If they obeyed and followed they would become a great nation etc. etc. If they didn't, all kinds of calamities would follow.
We know that the Jewish people eventually chose not to follow God.
Nations have tried to destroy the Jews as a people but failed

Jewish people today are intellectually brilliant, rich,famous,attractive,leaders. IMO God left just enough residue of his blessings on the Jewish people to assure that there would always be Jews and that the Lord means what he says. Every Jew you see today is a Miracle.

I think that many have been coming into Israel from other countries, mainly Russia, in the past few years. When they say outside the country, I think they mean just around in the middle east area dgrimm.
