Welcome with open arms fellow believers who don’t see things the way you do.
And don’t jump all over them every time they do or say something you don’t agree with
– even when it seems that they are strong on opinions but weak in the faith department.

In this book, Ed Dickerson achieves what writers of Biblical narratives strive for and what readers need most: the ability to visit another world, another time. Torn immerses the reader in an ancient culture whose people's lives were vastly different from ours -- yet their relationships with each other, and their need for a God to worship and trust, resonates with us today.

Are you going to promote "MY" book when I get it finished? I was hoping to give a couple chapters to the Guide editor to see if they wanted to use them but I never did run into anybody from the magazine at Atlanta. 'nuff sed

If you'd come by the signing table in the ABC, Jerry Thomas was there a couple of different times. He's the VP for product development at Pacific Press. You could have spoken to a number of different authors, virtually all of whom would have been willing to share their experiences in getting published.
Also, Karen Pearson, who is in charge of publicity, was there. But most of publicity is the responsibiity of the author.
That's why I produced this:
