I've been seeing a very strange-looking, very boxy, white car in town for a few weeks, but never could check to see what it actually was, as neither of us was parked at the time. I finally got my chance last Tuesday outside the grocery store. When I came out, there it was, parked in the same lane as mine. As I wheeled my cart past it, I checked the driver's side, the back, and finally the passenger side, but nowhere was there anything telling the make or model. I figured it had to be on the front, and thought maybe I'd go back and walk between the cars after I unloaded my things.
By the time I headed to the cart corral, there was a young man putting his groceries into the car, so I decided to go ask him about his car. But before I got to him, he had finished and turned and headed in the other direction, so I decided I shouldn't bother him.
I thought that maybe, when he pulled out of his parking space, he might just come my way, and I'd get a chance to check out the front of his car. Sure enough, he did. So now I know what it was. It isn't even a new model, but I still had never seen one before. I guess that's what comes of living in the country near a small town.
I found a picture online that looks exactly like the one I saw:
