Pam I'm not sure that 13 is correct. If you look at Joshua 21:4-7, it looks like there are 48 cities alloted to the Levites, and than 8-41 gives all the cities. Not sure if I'm correct but that's the way it looks to me.

Yes, man's mortality was not the issue, it was man's wickedness. The footnote in my bible says that the word "mortal" here is also translated "corrupt." So mortal, corrupt, wicked - it's all the same thing.

pk pk, I know the Levites got the 48 cities, but I think the priests only got 13 cities.....see Leviticus 21:19...
