I've seen Jamie Jorge at a lot of different gatherings...he's always very good - even when the strings break on his violin while he's playing it, he can still sound exquisitely good...

That's interesting, because I heard something similiar, about a guy playing at carneige hall, he had all the strings but one break and he continued on and still got a standing ovation.

A lot of great music comes out of such a simple instrument. He is a master.
After I saw him at a couple different campmeetings, I have been an avid fan. Whether he plays on 3ABN, Hope or even the Spanish stations, I stop to listen. He has such a passion that is rarely seen.
