A few months back I picked up a book from the public library that discussed Adam and his kin. A resource utilized and listed in the back was " After the Flood" by Bill Cooper (a Brit).
I requested a copy from the library loaning system but it was not available. The Library Director suggested that I order one from Amazon. I have been pleasantly surprised at the contents in the book.
Now seeing this forum listing, I am wondering if there are any more books out in circulation regarding the disburstment(sp?) of Noah's children after they left the ark?
Can anyone share titles or offer books?

Carolaa,,,,
One gets just so much from the Scriptures and the writers are long gone. Sure, could wait to ask my guardian angel but the quesions I have now aren't followed in the Scriptures.
After the tower of Babel, how did the human race spread out. The Book focuses on the line of God's chosen and what was to be the lineage of Jesus.
If you say, if it was important, God would have inspired writers to add to it. Point is, I want to know also, where did this Child come from? What is my line back to Noah? :-)

I think ChildOfChrist, no matter how much we read, we'll always have more and more questions. Some we will probably be able to get or figure out an answer to. But others we will never know the answer till we get to heaven and are able to ask Jesus.

HEY CHILDOFCHRIST
I am sure that ELLEN WHITE mentions that SHEM went to the Middle East countries-------HAM went to the African Countries------and JAPHETH went to the European Countries
dgrimm60 I think that info is pretty much in the Bible. That's probably where EGW got it.

But as for this book you recommend, how do you know it is factual? Is it based on other history books, or what?

Actually, I'm even more interested in pre-Flood history. The pre-Flood history is right there in the Book. AND we all know that none except Noah, his wife, three sons and their 3 wives survived on the ark. As for the population of the earth since then, the Biblical record only traces the lineage that ended up being the ancestors of Jesus...with few exceptions. But as for this book you recommend, how do you know it is factual? Is it based on other history books, or what? I have been going through and reading it carefully, taking notes and making a list of his resources as noted. While I realize that there will be libraries that I will never get to visit, I need to accept what he says. My salvation does not depend on whether he is 100% accurate. This man spent the better part of 25 years working on it so I am willing to take it with a grain of salt. It is a scholarly work with ancient writings that survived intact. Some being Roman chronicles. Caesar kept detailed records of his invasions. Some of the other accounts validate or agree with the Romans' and others fail to mention accounts of incidents that Caesar did, like when the Britons gave his troops a fight they hadn't expected. Then there are other chronicles such as from Welsh for example.
