Club Adventist
Welcome with open arms fellow believers who don’t see things the way you do.
And don’t jump all over them every time they do or say something you don’t agree with
– even when it seems that they are strong on opinions but weak in the faith department.
Remember, they have their own history to deal with. Treat them gently. Romans 14.1: The Message

When speaking slowly and distinctly one is saying Oh Really?

ilikewritingrunonwordssometimesinemailstojugglemindsreadingmymessagestothemjustforthekickofit. Withpracticeonecanlearntoreadsuchsentencesveryquickly.

The Orly icon owl is what I wish the way Americanese would really develop in a decade from now. All superfluous constanants would be eliminated. All silent vowels not used anymore. All double letter reduced to using only one so no more bb or mm or nn or oo or ll. All e's on the end of words not there anymore if we don't speak them out.

Orly is a sort of slant slurring the words together abbreviation.

Beautiful! the pics are really beautiful.

Doctor Dolittle would be so pleased to see that owls still talk to one another.

Grin....

Bozo, nothing new under the sun.

I still have my own Bozo moments sitting with educated SDA's and them going all out in profound theological statements. Or sprinking the talk with facts and figures of Adventist history with such ease. In those times of listening to discussion I am accutely aware of my lack of knowledge because of not exposing myself to reading in 'the books'. I continually quelch wondering questions so as not to reveal my Bozo ignorance and thus be looked down upon for being not so 'spiritual' as the others.

Reading here in forums gave me the clue needed to understand the orly thingy. It was only a few months ago I got this info new to my brain databank.

It's an insider bit of knowledge given to 'readers' that brain databanks can increase in treasures when one reads, and reads, and reads.

Amelia, your box of smilies seem to be missing some good-mood smilies. May I offer a few for your choice to add to the list?
